Tai'an Second Wastewater Treatment Plant Sludge Disposal Project

Taian Qingyuan Water Services Co., Ltd.'s No. 2 Wastewater Treatment Plant was officially completed and put into operation in April 2006. The plant employs the oxidation ditch process for wastewater treatment, with a designed capacity of 80,000 tons per day. In 2013, a second-phase expansion project was launched, adding another 40,000 tons per day, which was completed in 2014, bringing the plant's total treatment capacity up to 120,000 tons per day. In 2019, in line with the construction tasks and requirements of the Taishan Area Ecological Restoration Project focusing on mountains, water, forests, farmland, lakes, and grasslands, the No. 2 Wastewater Treatment Plant underwent an upgrade and renovation project. This project was completed in 2020, enabling the treated effluent to meet the Class IV quasi-standard criteria. For sludge deep treatment, the plant utilizes an advanced "sludge deep dewatering + ultra-high-temperature aerobic fermentation" process, designed to handle up to 80 tons of sludge per day.
